 Tribit StormBox Speaker Review

The new product to be launched by the company is Tribit’s StormBox speaker. Tribit created a speaker that stays portable while delivering on those all-important sonics, offering some impressive sound.

This speaker from Tribit Stormbox is an excellent complement to MaxSound. It manages to cram a lot of power and decent battery life into a lighter and smaller package by more than a third. All in all, it’s a pretty attractive bundle, made all the more so by the sterling reputation of Tribit for delivering decent Bluetooth speakers at a fair price. We agreed, however, to take a closer look.

There’s no such thing as too much bass with advanced XBass technology. You’ll have a fast and straightforward way of amplifying your music with bass technology. To fill the room with additional bass and good vibrations, click the bass button. For the Tribit portable speaker, Poolside Parties and Sandy Surfs Wild, wet fun is not a match.

The waterproofing IPX7 can resist humidity, and submersion. You can use it in the pool, on the beach, in the bathroom, or anywhere you want. Control Your Smart Assistant The Tribit Bluetooth speaker easily connects to your smart Assistant thanks to its advanced Bluetooth 4.2 technology.

The hassle-free app provides Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri with one-touch access. The comfort of your smart devices would make you love it. The compact design of this Tribit wireless speaker allows for quick transport so that you can grab and go! Place it with the attached silicone strap in a bag or hold it by hand.

Pair the speaker to any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone such as an iPhone, Samsung, iPad, laptop. Universal compatibility A comfortable 3.5mm audio jack offers desktop computers, TVs and MP3 players a fast connection.  In this Tribit  Review, I would tell you about this fantastic speaker’s bottom line and shortcomings.

The Main Features That You May Like About This Tribit

Design & Buildability: At first, I want to highlight its mesmerizing design in this

A cylindrical speaker that takes up almost as much room as a significant energy drink is the Tribit StormBox. Although its buttons lead you to assume that it has a particular front, the shape lends itself to a sound of 360 degrees.

The StormBox, speaking of buttons, keeps things simple. There are volume controls and a power/pairing multi-function press. Yeah, and there’s an XBass button used to push the sound to the next level as well.

The speaker has an exterior of rigid mesh and an IPX7 grade, meaning it is designed to withstand splashes and scrapes. A lanyard is at the top that makes it convenient to hold or attach to a bag.

It’s nice and compact, weighing about a pound in all. While it pairs via Bluetooth, for direct link to audio sources, the Storm-box also has an auxiliary 3.5mm input. It is placed under a protective rubber flap that keeps stuff dry, along with the micro-USB charging port.

Also worth noting, to make a stereo sound, you can put several StormBox speakers together. We did not have the opportunity to try out the features.

Performance: As it did what it promised, I was delighted with how the speaker worked. It was no challenge for the StormBox to fill expansive rooms and open spaces. You could easily hear whatever was in every room playing. You will find the same performance of this speaker as I am mentioning in this Tribit Review.

The water-resistance was working very well. It was a little muffled, nothing dramatic, though. Overall, I figured that the speaker was doing really well underwater. With the select button, you can do multiple functions without using X-Bass button.

The battery life is precisely twenty hours. You can use it for about 10 hours at a random. The manual provides a guide to figuring out the different positions, including how to understand the battery stage. It’s not really obvious, but there’s a column of lights on the back that will usually give you an idea.

Waterproof Technology & Bluetooth Rating: Since it has a waterproof IPX7 rating, it is easy to take the StormBox to the beach, park, or just around the watery place. For up to 30 minutes, the speaker can tolerate temporary submergence in up to three feet of water. You do not need to think about a sudden downpour, therefore, or whether your speaker wishes to take a dip with you. In a tub, you can also use it.

Thanks to Bluetooth technology, you can wander up to 66 ft away from the device without breaking the link between your smartphone and the speaker. As you enjoy your music, this gives you even more independence. In an outdoor space, I checked this range and found it to be approximately correct.

Battery Life: The battery will shut down approximately 20 hours of playback, Tribit suggests. However, there is a caveat to this. This depends, as with all portable Bluetooth speakers, on the playback volume and the audio content. So, if you play music with a lot going on, you will not get this kind of battery output at full volume.

You can play several different DJ mixes from SoundCloud for five hours while working, in many styles. The battery indicator had fallen one light at about 60 percent volume, so you’d say the battery lasts the 20 hours that Tribit says, caveat considered.

Connectivity: The ability to chain two speakers together through one smartphone is also possible. This means that you can experience multi-room 360-degree sound or enhance the sound in one room by using the two speakers set apart.

Sound Quality: Without the tiny sound that some portable speakers ruin your top-end with, Tribit sounds nice and crisp. The mids are straightforward and well-defined, too, which is perfect as they work within the mid-range for music with lyrics.

The bass is, however, where the StormBox really stands out. Now, you’d like my bass with plenty of depth, and it was able to produce a rich bottom-end even on its default bass setting. However, in an almost narrow way, a fast click of the XBass button and the bass opens up.

When music plays at maximum volume and XBass is involved, the two 45mm drivers wobble in the most tremendously pleasing way.

Inputs & Multi-functions Features: Depending on the gesture you use, the multifunction button has various operations. A single click of a button controls play and pause. A double-click is used to skip to the next track, while a triple-click is used to play the previous track.

With the multi-function button, you can also address calls. A single click addresses a call and terminates it. It is simply a matter of two presses refusing the call. Depressing the button will activate the voice assistant for your smartphone.

On the back of the StormBox, a fast spin round and you have the power button, which lights up when the speaker is turned on. There is a four-dot battery indicator going down the unit, below which sits the communication button for Bluetooth. The XBass button for ramping up the bottom end is below that. Finally, the aux jack and the micro-USB port house the rubber-sealed recess.

Robust rubber bumpers are capped at the top and bottom of the speaker, which will protect the speaker itself if you drop it, while also protecting the 45mm branded bass drivers sitting at either end of the unit.

Portability: There is a rubber band that attaches to the speaker’s top. This is excellent for holding the gadget in your hands, hanging it from a hook, or removing it from your backpack quickly and easily. Suffice it to say, as far as portable devices are concerned, the speaker’s overall look is fairly ordinary, but the overall StormBox aesthetics is mesmerizing.
